When the growing season really springs upon us, it’s hard to know where to focus first. There are weeds to pull, annuals and perennials to plant, containers to fill, fertilizer to spread, shrubs to prune and…the list could go on and on, right? I personally am overwhelmed. You? All we can do is the best we can.

So today’s post will be short because my time is limited and it’s hard to know where to focus. All of that said, it’s never a mistake to put our attention on the transformation that’s going on all around us. No matter how much there is to be done, and no matter how overwhelmed we feel, it lifts our spirits to slow down for a few minutes and appreciate the wonders and miracles that are all around us.

Watching the Osmunda fern grow helps me to remember to stop and appreciate how lovely this season is.
