Recently I had the great pleasure of speaking at Nunan’s Florist and Greenhouses in Georgetown, MA. Here’s a taste of what I saw.
These pots made me smile. I can imagine a line of them planted with herbs on the kitchen windowsill, or one filled with pens or plant labels on the desk.
If you’re in Eastern Massachusetts or Southern New Hampshire and need a dose of the topics, Nunan’s is the place to go. They had a huge selection when I was there, even though it was the dead of winter.
Steve Nunan took Jacob, the store Macaw, out for his daily stroll around the greenhouse. Jacob is a curious bird who will show off by doing pull-ups while hanging from his beak. Be sure to tell him he’s a pretty bird.
Garden centers are the places to be when you need a dose of spring!
I liked how Nunan’s had some pots scattered throughout the plants. Since I was longing for sunshine the grouping of yellow pots with yellow-foliaged plants drew my eyes.
