You Can Grow That!
There are so many plants that are fragrant, especially on summer evenings. Be sure to put plants that are fragrant where you’re likely to be sitting late in the day. Place summer’s sweet-smelling flowers under bedroom windows as well. Some of my favorites for summer fragrance include any of the Cletheras (they don’t call it “summer sweet” for nothing), Actaea simplex ‘Brunette’, Daphne ‘Summer Ice’, white Lobularia, and Hosta ‘Summer Bouquet’. Sit down, enjoy the evening, and take a deep breath.
Most white Hosta flowers are fragrant. ‘Fragrant Bouquet’ is one of my favorites.
