One thing I love about speaking to garden clubs is looking at the displays of flowers that are often at the meetings. I love how the collection of different clear vases and bottles, each holding a single flower or leaf, combine to make an abridged garden. Such seasonal celebrations can be created for ourselves, in our own homes. Line up an assortment of jars and bottles on your kitchen counter, dining or coffee table. Pick some garden stars and create a display of the best of the season. Or take your garden on the road and fill the edge of your desk, or a fellow employee’s work space.

For many of us the growing season is coming to an end, so let’s celebrate while we can!

Today I have my own personal flower show of blossoms from the fall season.

This display lined tall stems in the back and short in the front.

Oh go ahead, show off those veggies too!

Do those groups of flowers make you smile too? They are so casually cheerful that the display makes me happy.
